PROFESSOR NIKOS PAPADOPOULOS ELECTED NEW PRESIDENT OF THE RESPIRATORY EFFECTIVENESS GROUP (REG)
Professor Nikos Papadopoulos, Professor of Allergy & Paediatric Allergy at the University of Manchester, UK and the University of Athens, Greece, was elected last week President of the Respiratory Effectiveness Group (REG).
Professor Papadopoulos takes over from Dr Dermot Ryan and is supported by a board comprising leading figures in real-life respiratory research:

Vice President for Methodology – Nicolas Roche
Vice President for Internal Organisation – Antonio Anzueto
Vice President for Global Collaboration – Walter Canonica
Vice President for Finances and Supporter relationships – Dermot Ryan
Vice President for Communications – Sinthia Bosnic-Antisevich
Vice President for Events – Alan Kaplan
Prof Papadopoulos stated:” It is a great challenge to take the lead in this think tank of over 500 prominent key opinion leaders and promote the use of real-life research for the benefit of patients”
